Sayama (Teaching Between Worlds) Documentary
“Sayama (Teaching Between Worlds)” is a raw and intimate documentary by Alex Johnson and The Inclusive Education Foundation, exploring the lives of migrant teachers along the Thai-Myanmar border. Through personal interviews, educators share the realities of working under instability, low pay, and displacement, while holding onto a powerful belief in education as a pathway to a better future. Blending these voices with insights from local and international experts, the film reveals the gap between global policy and lived experience, and highlights teaching as a profound act of resilience and resistance.
